Scott Young, Commercial Grower, Childers, Qld.

I commenced trials with RC3 in May 2019 on avocado trees badly affected with phytophthora. Improvement in tree health was evident within a very short time which prompted me to treat the rest of the orchard at 800ml / 2.5 ha. At this stage, the trees were only two years old. 2020 saw applications of RC3 of 1ltr./ha four times from March to August followed by monthly applications of 2ltr. / ha until February 2021.

Using RC3 has helped in keeping at bay, predatory insects, increased flowering and has made the orchard bee friendly. By following Bob’s protocol, fruit production has increased significantly, enabling us to maintain our “chemical free status” with no damage anywhere in the orchard. This I attribute to the increase of tree health and natural defences which have been documented by measuring chlorophyll, sap and soil PH levels. EC and Brix levels are being monitored by Bob on a regular basis. I have now understood how important these tests are and have subsequently purchased my own equipment to continue testing on a regular tests.

RC3 is also sprayed on commercially grown fine stem Rhodes grass / Lucerne hay mix. The use of this product together with Bobs’ instructions has exceeded all expectations. Insect infestation has dramatically decreased and the health, vitality, quality and growth of hay produced has increased. As depicted in the photos following, we also grow a variety of fruit trees which prior to treatment were not doing well. Photos are self evident.
